To teach life skills through lacrosse. Develop players into hard-working student-athletes of character and integrity while creating a pathway for young people to succeed.

The Louisiana Lacrosse Academy (LLA) was formed in 2022 to give players interested in lacrosse or interested in further developing their current skills, a highly effective and comprehensive training program. LLA offers a place for players to improve their skills in a smaller setting beyond what is accomplished at team practices. The coaches involved have experience playing at the highest level (collegiate and national teams).

We offer clinics, conditioning, travel ball teams, personal lessons, and mentoring. Players just starting with the sport will learn fundamentals essential to their success and experienced players will fine-tune their skills and talent to compete at the highest level possible. Players can sign up for private lessons, members-only areas, and club teams.

There is no place in the metro area that offers opportunities for players to get extra coaching in a small setting outside of the high school season. To help grow lacrosse in Southern Louisiana, the players and families want more. Therefore, LLA sponsors fall and summer travel teams for High School boys to compete against teams from other states. These teams are for anyone interested and are separate from private lessons but do include multiple team practices. Visit our Membership page for more information. More information coming soon.
